Heres the logo that i designed for graces camp 2008.
We weren’t given much limitations so we could design pretty much anything we want as long as it remains in sync with the idea behind our graces camp.
And the first thing i related to was birds, simply because it links up to “grace” and “femininity”. I further seived through the many birds that came to my mind and after an hour or so of playing around with random flora/fauna shapes, designs of victorian fences, and staring at stock photos of flamingoes, i managed to churn out something that looks like this:

I’d decided that this looked fine, although there was, again, my usual problem of overshading and the symmetry of the entire thing was a little off. But all on all, I am satisfied with this piece of work.
