Design number 1

This was the very very first design that i came up with together with lingxue and leny. We did up a few colour schemes to show the teachers but no one was particularly satisfied.. I forgot the reason as to why this design was rejected; i think it has got something to do with the poster being “not lively enough” for the concert. Oh well.

After that, me and lingxue were told to come up with an individual design of the poster within an afternoon, so i hurriedly came up with this:

My design is more of the graphic sort, while lingxue’s design is her signature manga style. Her design was of a manga-styled girl singing, i think. After some debate over whose design is more appropriate, the teachers decided that my design makes good use of colours, while lingxue’s choir girl is good as well, so they combined our designs through some photoshop layering, and came up with this:
